Account book, 1824, April 23 -1825, January 17.

Tavern accounts are kept under the names of customers, roughly in chronological order. Included are notations recording the number of nights spent lodging, meals taken, the boarding of horses, and number of drinks ordered. Bayley also sold cigars and alcoholic beverages, including rum, gin, brandy, beer, whiskey, bitters, and punch. There are occasional mentions of washing and boot blacking, though amounts charged for these services are not always written down.
